Some backlash against the previous Pope article to which I previously linked.

Both of these links, FYI, I found here. I didn't even catch this link the first time I read that post.

I don't pretend to know what's going on with the modern Catholic, but I'm just a little disturbed by the vitriol and persecution complexes on display in those comments. Can someone please explain to me the "hatred that...Catholics encounter"? Is it part of the pedophile priest backlash, or is there something more that I am missing? Or has this just been going on forever and I've never picked up on it before? I'm honestly curious.
